Elephant Nature Parks, LLC (This website and service) acts solely as a booking agent for elephant sanctuaries in Chiang Mai, Thailand. We are not the service provider. We reserve the right to outsource the fulfillment of your tour to a verified sanctuary partner. By proceeding with a booking, you acknowledge that you are entering into a contract for services with the selected sanctuary, and Elephant Nature Parks, LLC holds no liability for the operation, safety, or quality of the tour itself.
Pricing, Fees, and Taxes
Booking Fee: A booking fee is required to secure your reservation. This booking fee is strictly non-refundable.
Service Charge: A mandatory service charge of ฿100 per person applies to all bookings in addition to the listed tour price.
Taxes: All prices listed are exclusive of any Value Added Tax (VAT) or equivalent duties applicable in the tourist's country of residence. Customers are responsible for any such taxes mandated by their local jurisdiction.
Balance Payment: The remaining balance for your tour must be paid in cash (Thai Baht) directly at the Park on the day of your visit. Credit card payments are not accepted at the park.
Sanctuary Cancellation Policy
Cancellations have both an operational and financial impact on the sanctuary.
2+ Days Prior: Cancellations made up until 2 days before the tour commences will incur a charge of 50% of the deposit paid.
Within 2 Days / No Show: Cancellations within 2 days prior to the tour, or failure to arrive ("No Show"), will incur a charge of 100% of the deposit paid.
Note: As your agency booking fee is non-refundable, it is separate from the sanctuary's deposit/cancellation charges.
Transportation
Pick-up from hotels within Chiang Mai city is included. Hotels located outside the city will incur an additional fee of at least ฿200 per person, depending on the distance.
Safety and Conduct
Visitors are in close contact with wild animals and acknowledge that these encounters carry inherent risks. By booking, you agree to:
Follow all instructions from your Guide and the Park’s policies strictly.
Refrain from approaching elephants without a Guide/Mahout present, from behind, or putting hands into an elephant's mouth.
Refrain from smoking or consuming alcohol near the animals or in dining areas.
Accept that visits are at the Visitor’s own risk. While the Park carries its own personal accident insurance, we strongly recommend that all visitors maintain their own comprehensive emergency medical and travel insurance.
Media and Intellectual Property
All media recordings (photographs, audio, video) taken at the park remain the commercial property of the operating sanctuary. Distribution or re-sale of such recordings requires written consent from the sanctuary.
